Description

Do you have a technical background and a sharp eye for quality? Then you might be the Technical Operator we\'re looking for!

As a Technical Operator at Sapim, you play a crucial role in the production of our high-precision bicycle components. You are responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment — but just as importantly, for performing strict quality checks throughout the process.

Your work truly makes a difference — every spoke and nipple that leaves our production site must meet the highest quality standards. Thanks to your precision, technical skills, and eye for detail, our products are trusted by both recreational cyclists and top-level professional teams around the world. You play a key role in upholding Sapim’s global reputation for excellence.

Who are we looking for?

You’re someone who enjoys working hands-on with machines and technology. You like to understand how things work — and even more, how to make them work better. You take pride in precision, because you know that small details make a big difference when it comes to quality.

You\'re not just pushing buttons; you\'re thinking along. You notice when something’s off and take action before it becomes a problem. You’re reliable, safety-minded, and motivated to do your part in a bigger production process.

Teamwork? Absolutely. But you also take ownership of your tasks and like seeing the result of your work at the end of the day. Whether you’re adjusting a machine, checking product quality, or collaborating with colleagues from other departments — you’re involved, focused, and engaged.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and operating machines for cutting, forming, wire drawing, or assembly
  • Performing changeovers during product switches or technical adjustments
  • Conducting quality checks based on detailed product specifications
  • Detecting and resolving minor technical issues
  • Accurately recording production data (output, downtime, quality deviations)
  • Cooperating with colleagues from production, maintenance, quality and planning
  • Contributing to a safe, clean and efficient work environment

If this sounds like you, chances are you’ll feel right at home at Sapim — where technical skill, quality mindset and teamwork go hand in hand.

At Sapim, we believe that great people make great products. That’s why we invest in your growth, well-being, and work environment.

  • A competitive salary with attractive bonuses, including a quality bonus, shift premium and meal vouchers (maaltijdcheques)
  • Bicycle leasing program
  • A lively and supportive work environment with plenty of fun events throughout the year
  • Opportunities for personal growth and training to sharpen your technical skills
  • Being part of a stable, 100% Belgian company with global impact
  • Access to our on-site gym, available for all employees before or after work
  • A workplace where safety, quality, and teamwork come first — and where your efforts truly make a difference

Come and build with us — your work will be part of bicycles that race, explore, and inspire around the world!
