As a Loading Dock Operator at Sapim, you play a crucial role in ensuring that goods flow smoothly in and out of our production sites in Wilrijk. From receiving materials to preparing shipments, you make sure every delivery is handled with accuracy and care.

With your attention to detail and hands-on mindset, you keep our loading dock organized, safe, and running like clockwork — directly contributing to the reliability of our global supply chain.

What will you be doing?

As a Loading Dock Operator at Sapim, you’re at the heart of our daily logistics operations. You make sure every truck is loaded and unloaded safely, every shipment is complete, and every movement is perfectly coordinated.

Your day-to-day work includes:

• Scanning incoming and outgoing goods
• Picking and preparing orders for shipment
• Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift or electric pallet truck
• Checking delivery documents (packing slips, CMR, labels) and verifying quantities and packaging
• Moving goods to the correct internal zones (warehouse, production, subcontracting)
• Registering shipments in the system and reporting discrepancies to the Warehouse First Operator
• Assisting with stock counts and supporting colleagues with other logistics tasks when needed
• Following all safety procedures and keeping the loading dock area clean, safe, and well-organized
