SAPIM offers two methods for blackening spokes. Black Oxidation, for stainless steel spokes, creates a thin oxide layer for a rich black finish, offering refined looks and superior durability. Meanwhile, Black Coating is applied to steel spokes, combining corrosion resistance with a sleek finish, offering excellent value and enhancing wheel appearance.

Our standard spokes have a bending length of 2.8 mm, ideal for at least 90% of market hubs. However, we recognize that standard bendings may not fit every situation. For steel hubs requiring a shorter bend, you can adjust with our spoke washer (see the ‘washers’ page for details) or request a custom bending length.

TCS
The Torsion Control System deliver the best spokes on the market for making a strong wheel. The secret of the spoke is in the unique square just above the thread (patented design). With this square it is possible to hold the spoke during tightening and truing, so it prevents the spoke from twisting. The TCS Spokes can easily be tightened to more than 200 Nm without twisting.

Reinforced (RES)
RES strengthens butted and aero spokes at their bending point by thickening only the head, it preserves spoke properties while enhancing strength, reducing failures. It adds just 0.5% weight and boosts bending strength by 10%. The thicker head improves hub fit, reducing wear and enhancing durability and consistent wheel performance.
